BODY AMERICA LIP BUTTER REVIEW

Bonjour!

So today i’ll review Body America’s lip butter in New York Cheesecake With An Edge (Vanilla Strawberry).

A few weeks ago, I saw this lip butter at Douglas, in the sale. And I thought why not give it a chance…

The lip butter comes in an little box, with an pinup girl on, just as the logo, and the rest of the brand has a fifty’s fibe. (Which I actually really like) the little container containes 8.5g/0.3OZ lip butter. And has an Off white-ish color. It smells nice, and doesn’t make your lips sticky. But honestly it doesn’t do anything an simple lipbalm wouldn’t do. When you apply it to your lips, it makes them look shiny, and leaves a white-ish colour that makes your lips look pale/soft pink. Another good thing is that it’s made with organic ingredients, also it’s paraben free.

Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Ricisnus Communis (Castor) Oil, Flavor, Cera Alba (Beeswax), PEG 8 Beeswax, Silia, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Sea Butter), Mangifera Indica (Mango Kernel) Butter, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Sucralose, Pentaerythrityl Tetra-di-t-butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891)

Honestly I wouldn’t  repurchase this item, it only moisturises my lips for a short time, and leaves them completely dried out after. It’s more expensive than a lipbalm. And further it doesn’t do anything an ordinary lipbalm wouldn’t do… The only good reason I can think of why I should repurchase it, is that it’s an organic lip butter.
